The Scientific Reports of the Whales Research institute
During 40 years the Whales Research Institute, founded in 1947 and forerunner of the Institute of Cetacean Research, issued a scholarly annual publication to disseminate research findings, the Scientific Reports of the Whales Research Institute).
From 1948 to 1988 some 419 peer-reviewed papers were published there, including 54 papers authored by overseas scientists.
